Press3 represents the culmination of my 20+ years of experience working at, and with, some of the leading organizations in the printing industry. This is the story of what led me here.
Before honing my skills leading the printing operations at Simply Southern Tees and Sports Endeavors (soccer.com), I worked at M&R Printing Equipment—the industry leader in garment printing machines—as a technician where I set up, repaired and tuned the equipment for many of the industries leading printing companies. I use these same machines at Press3 and my expert knowledge of these machines allows Press3 to operate efficiently and ensure exceptional quality for your garments.
My work at M&R brought me in contact with the folks at Simply Southern Tees where I took on the challenge of streamlining production and fixing quality issues. Starting with just 3 presses in a 16,000 sq ft facility, I was part of an incredible growth story that saw us move to a 36,000 sq ft space within six months, and soon after designing and building a brand new 125,000 sq ft production facility. I was responsible for designing a production floor from scratch, optimizing it to house 14 presses and 7 dryers, all while ensuring a seamless transition that never missed a day of production. When I left Simply Southern after 5 and a half years, we were printing over 30,000 shirts a day on a single shift, totaling over 50 million prints during my time there.
Looking for a new challenge closer to home, I joined Sports Endeavors (soccer.com) as a Production Manager. There, I took on the task of reorganizing and upgrading the screen printing department, implementing new processes, and training employees to achieve better quality and efficiency. I also enhanced the Art room and DTG (Direct-to-garment) departments, increasing production and quality significantly. Working with the IT team, I helped develop an automated process that streamlined our busiest times of the year, eliminating unnecessary steps and boosting productivity
